Working towards being FSC Certified

As part of our strategy for caring for the environment in which we live we have
applied to be FSC Certified.
The FSC system will allow us to purchase and use wood that we know has been made
from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources.

With FSC parts of the forest are protected entirely, in order to protect rare animals and plants.
It also protects the rights of indigenous people to use the forest.
If they have sacred sites they are exempt from felling ensuring that future generations
can enjoy the benefits of the forest.
